This Act makes provision with respect to sewage disposal works, i.e. communication with public sewers and the adoption of sewage works by the Sewage Authority. It is the duty of the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority — (a) to provide, improve and extend such a system of public sewers and so to cleanse and maintain those sewers as to ensure that the Island is and continues to be effectually drained; and (b) to make provision for the emptying of those sewers and such further provision as is
