The present Regulations enact the Environment Act. For the purpose of the present Regulations “on-site sewage disposal system” means a system for disposing of sewage that is not directly connected to a central sewage collection and treatment system or a municipal system. The Regulations apply to any lot shown on a plan or instrument of subdivision that must be submitted to a development officer for approval by a municipality and is proposed to be serviced by a system.
