This law implements the Sewerage and Water Supply Act 1949, it consists of 76 sections and is divided into four Chapters. Chapter 1 contains preliminary matters, Chapter 2 covers local governments local supply systems, Chapter 3 water plumbing and Chapter 4 contains miscellaneous provisions. The law is completed by one schedule containing a dictionary of relevant terms.
