This Ordinance provides rules for ships flying the flag of Aruba aiming at the prevention of pollution of marine waters by such ships. In general, it shall be prohibited to discharge a polluting substance from a ship as provide for by the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).
