This Statute is composed of five chapters divided in 35 articles. It regulates the mission, functions and internal structure of the Public Company for Water and Electricity –EMAE. EMAE shall be in charge for the production, transport and distribution of electricity as well as abstraction, treatment and distribution of water across the whole national territory.
