These Regulations require buyers and producers of cow, goat or sheep milk to supply records and returns to Milk SA, an association incorporated under the Companies Act. This Statutory Measure aims at fulfilling objectives of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996 in respect of the cow, goat or sheep milk industry. The information obtained through registration is important in terms of market access, efficiency of marketing and the viability of the industry.
