This Act makes provision with respect to the branding of stock. The Minister may by notice in the Gazette declare: (a) any kind of animal as stock; (b) any mark not to be a brand, for the purposes of this Act and may also, by Regulations and for the purpose specified by the Minister, require an owner of any kind of animal, not being stock, to brand that animal, in the prescribed manner, for that particular purpose.
