The objects of this Act are: to create, and provide for the protection and maintenance of, an effective watershed forest reserve; to designate and protect important watershed areas; and to provide for the conservation and management of mangrove forests. The watershed forest reserve shall be administered by the Pohnpei Public Lands Trust Board of Trustees. The Act specifies allowed and prohibited uses of the protected area.
