This Act states that no person can keep any animals or birds in urban areas without a license granted as per the provisions of this Act. The Act also provides the State government the power to appoint Inspectors and Licensing Officers who shall have the authority to inspect any stable, shed or any other premises to search for animals or birds kept without license.
