These Regulations, made under the Tanzania Food, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 2003, provide rules with respect to transport of meat ("the edible part of a slaughtered animal or poultry that has been inspected by a meat inspector and found fit for human consumption"). An application for a licence to transport meat shall be made in form prescribed in the First Schedule.
