These Regulations implement provisions of the Tea Act. Both the Tea Board of Tanzania and the Tanzania Smallholder Tea Development Agency are established as corporate bodies by the Tea Act of 1997. The Board shall cause a register to be maintained of all land planted with tea and of owners, occupiers and managers thereof.
