This Act provides rules for the exportation of timber, i.e. any wood of trees grown in East Africa whether unsawn, hewn, sawn or machined. The Minister may make Regulations for the exclusion of any kind of timber from the provisions of this Act and for the restriction or prohibition of the movement of any kind of timber from Uganda either by kind or by quantity.
