The Minister of Internal Affairs, under the powers conferred to him by article 6 of the Town and Country Planning Law, issues the present Order aiming at the guidance of the urban management authorities in regard to the principles, the criteria and the process of exercising urban control concerning applications for the installation (localization) of Energy Production Units from renewable energy sources. Under the light of European Directive No. 2001/77/EC and the national objective that has been
