The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the protection of trees in the Land Berlin. Because of their great importance as living basis for wild living animals, as well as for being part of the landscape, for improving the climatic conditions and reducing harmful effects on the environment, trees in the Land Berlin shall be considered protected according to the provisions of the present Ordinance.
