The present Law introduces some amendments to the Environment Protection Act 1996 (LGBl. No. 84/1996). In particular, it rewords article 10 concerning the "Academy for Environment and Nature" in Upper Austria. Furthermore, it amends article 11 dealing with the environmental report; it adds, also, a paragraph 4a to article 16 on transmission of environmental data; finally, it amends paragraph 8 of article 16 establishing that the transmission of data shall be carried out free of charge.
