The purpose of the present Act is to regulate the sale of vegetables in the province of Alberta. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to the terms employed therein, such as “grade”, “inspector”, “Minister”, “vegetable”. Section 4 establishes that the Minister shall appoint inspectors who may at any reasonable time in any place or premise inspect vegetable whenever they deem it necessary or advisable.
