This Act, consisting of 23 sections, provides for the vitamin A enrichment in edible oils and for its sale, preservation, supply, and marketing. The edible oils will be enriched in Vitamin 'A' according to the level specified in Schedule 1. No person shall sell, preserve, supply or market non-enriched oil. No person can import any refined edible oil that was not enriched by Vitamin 'A' according to the specified level. The packaging containing the fortification logo mentioned in schedule II will
