The present Order is made under the Environment Protection Act. In particular, section 3 establishes that the Labrador-Island Transmission Link undertaking by the proponent Nalcor Energy is released from environmental assessment. This release is subject to the terms and conditions listed in section 4. The environmental effects monitoring plans shall cover the following areas: vegetation, island caribou, furbearers, fauna, freshwater fish. The text consists of 5 sections.
