The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2000/76/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 December 2000 on the incineration of waste. In particular, the Ordinance deals with the discharge of waste water resulting from such incineration. Waste water from the cleaning of exhaust gases discharged from an incineration or co-incineration plant shall be subject to a permit granted by the competent authorities.
