For the purposes of aligning the Cypriot legislative frame with the European Community Directives on waste from the titanium dioxide industry (Council Directives Nos. 78/176/EEC, 82/883/EEC and 92/112/EEC), the present Regulations are made pursuant to article 34 of the Water Pollution Control Law of 2002.
