This Order prescribes that Bord Gáis Éireann is a relevant person for the purposes of Section 26 of the Water Services Act 2013. Section 26 empowers the Board and Irish Water ("the subsidiary) to require information to a relevant person, so as to enable the Board and the subsidiary to perform their functions under the Act.
