This Law has been enacted to conserve wildlife, protect species diversity and maintain the balance of natural ecosystems. The Council of Agriculture is appointed as the National Principal Authority (NPA) for purposes of wildlife management and conservation. Wildlife shall be classified in two categories: (1) Protected Species which shall include Endangered Species, Rare and Valuable Species and Other Conservation-Deserving Wildlife; (2) General Wildlife which shall include all other wildlife not
