The Wildlife (Amendment) Act, 2000 includes new definition of "fauna" and "wild animal", which extends the scope of the Wildlife Acts to cover fish and aquatic invertebrates. The effect of these Regulations is to declare certain species of fish or aquatic invertebrate animal to be excluded from the provisions of the Wildlife (Amendment) Act, 2000.
