To facilitate consideration by the Conference of the Parties of the inclusion of liquid formulations (emulsifiable concentrate and soluble concentrate) containing paraquat dichloride at or above 276 g/L, corresponding to paraquat ion at or above 200 g/L, in Annex III to the Rotterdam Convention, the annexes to the present note set out the rationale and recommendation pertaining to the substances prepared by the Chemical Review Committee at its seventh and eighth meetings, respectively.
