Regional overview of Parties to the Stockholm Convention The Asia-Pacific region accounts for 62% of the world population (4.2 billion inhabitants) spread over 74 countries. By April 2010, 47 countries from the region were Parties to the Stockholm Convention, and 28 of them have submitted their National Implementation Plans (NIP). Twentyfive of these NIPs were analysed to describe the regional situation of PCBs management.
