ANNEX V to the Report of the International Conference on Chemicals Management on the work of its third session (SAICM/ICCM.3/24) in Nairobi, 17-21 September 2012In its resolution II/8, the International Conference on Chemicals Managementrequested the Strategic Approachsecretariat to develop,in consultation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and within available resources,astrategy for strengthening the engagement of the health sector in the implementation of the Strategic Approach.The present strategy represents the first time that theConference has considered sector-specific approaches to attainingits objectives.
