An NGO has drawn the attention of the Central Interpol office of the presence in the Court of the Grand Hotel Casino of 8 crocodiles that are fully protected species. One of the NGO’s agents pretended to be a buyer. The accused (the seller) was arrested and said that the crocodiles belonged to his boss but that he took care of them.  The defense of the accused (that his boss is the owner of the animals) could not exclude his guilt. He was therefore judged guilty of the offense of unlawfully detaining fully protected wild animals. The State joined a civil action to the proceedings.
