This Act provides for the establishment of the Agricultural Inspection and Testing Institute and for its composition and functions.
The Institute, among other things, performs administrative proceedings and performs other administrative activities, professional and testing acts and control, and supervisory activities in the following areas: viticulture; feed; seeds and seedlings of cultivated plants; protection of hops; fertilizers, soil improvers, plant adjuvants and substrates, treated sludges and sediments; monitoring of agricultural soils and agrochemical testing of agricultural soils; protection of plant variety rights; and phytosanitary care.
