These Requirements are formulated in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of China and the Protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the State Plant Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Phytosanitary Requirements for the Red Chili Exported from Uzbekistan into China.
Red chili imported from Uzbekistan to China should meet the national food safety standards of China, comply with the relevant laws and regulations on plant quarantine in China, and be qualified by Uzbekistan the Ukrainian quarantine institution. List of quarantine pests of concern, packing requirements, etc. are also stipulated.
