These Regulations prescribe the procedures for granting state and European Union support for crop area, animal and plant insurance. The purpose of the aid is to promote the involvement of farmers in risk mitigation in the agricultural sector by covering part of the cost of the insurance premium. The acceptance of support applications shall be announced in accordance with the regulatory enactments regarding the granting, administration and supervision of state and European Union support for rural and fisheries development in 2014 2020 annual programming period. Rural Support Service within a month after receiving the application shall decide on the granting of aid or of the refusal to grant aid.
