This Decree, based on the provisions of the article 11a.2 of the Environmental Management Act, and the article 5.10(1) of the Environmental Law General Provisions Act, concerns statements and certifications on sustainability requirements for the biomass produced for energy purposes. The Decree provides for: Ministerial recognition of conformity assessment bodies; application for recognition; requirements for recognition; approval certification scheme; mutual recognition with other European States; sustainability requirements, including: greenhouse gas emissions, agricultural residual flows, flows from nature and landscape management, sustainable forest management, carbon and land use change; supervision and enforcement measures.
