This Decree follows the provisions of the European Regulation 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council on official controls and other official activities performed to ensure the application of food and feed law, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products, and therefore designates BV C-Mark as the body authorised to carry out official sampling at poultry farms in the context of monitoring zoonotic Salmonella, in compliance with the European Regulation 2160/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the control of salmonella and other specific foodborne zoonotic agents. The Decree concerns: duty of the designated body to report to the Minister; Ministerial right to demand information relating to the performance of the authorised body s official activities; administration and cost management; Ministerial power to withdraw the designation in case of misconduct or non-compliance with the conditions of this Decree.
