This Decree, implementing provisions of articles 5.9 and 8.1 of the Animal Act of 2011 provides for application of the European Directive the European Parliament and of the Council 2001/82/EC on the community code relating to veterinary medicinal products. The Decree designates the officials and other persons charged with supervising compliance with the provisions pursuant to the Animal Act, including veterinarians and inspectors of the National Animal Protection Inspectorate Foundation. The Decree provides for continuing the existing instructions for monitoring compliance with the provisions on veterinary medicines, animal products and animal feeds.
