This Regulation establishes the procedure for covering the costs associated with the introduction of drip irrigation for raw cotton producers with a view of improving productivity and yield of agricultural crops through introduction of water-saving technologies, in particular in cotton sector. Budgetary subsidies shall be allocated to the agricultural enterprises cultivating cotton for state needs on low-yield land. The total sum allocated for reimbursement of expenses of the producers of raw cotton related to the introduction of drip irrigation technology shall not exceed 8 million soms per hectare regardless of the total cost associated with the introduction of drip irrigation technology. The subsidy from the state budget will be used to cover the costs of producers of raw cotton related to the introduction of drip irrigation technology, including repayment of loans. In order to access to reimbursement and subsidies the applicant must submit to the competent authority the following documentation: (a) draft irrigation project and business plan copy; (b) loan agreement with a commercial bank on the implementation of drip irrigation technology and a copy of the loan approval documents; (c) copy of the contract with the contracting agencies for the purchase and construction of drip irrigation technology components (other relevant documents will be provided if the drip irrigation technology was built by a cotton mill producer); (d) copies of the documents confirming the incurred expenses; and (e) copy of the conclusion of Commission for Adoption of Completed Works on Introduction of Drip Irrigation Technology.
