This Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers determines the status, main tasks, functions, rights and responsibilities, organization of the activities of the Agency for implementation of projects in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply on implementation of projects in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply, as well as functional responsibilities of its managers. The Agency is an authorized state body responsible for assistance in the development and implementation of major projects, including investment projects, in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply for the purpose of active development and support of entrepreneurship. The main objectives of the Agency shall be as follows: (a) assistance in the development and formation of projects, including investment projects, in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply, taking into account the priorities of development and support of entrepreneurship; (b) attraction of foreign investments, loans, grants and technical assistance of international financial institutions and international governmental financial organizations with a view of implementation of projects, including investment projects, in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply; (c) implementation of projects for aimed at further modernization and technical and technological innovation of the infrastructure of agro-industrial complex and food supply; (d) monitoring of the status of projects and subprojects, identification of problems hindering their effective implementation, as well as providing practical assistance in their resolution; (e) cooperation with initiators of startup projects, introduction of innovative ideas and technologies, assistance in organization of implementation of highly efficient and energy-saving project solutions, creation of laboratories and design bureaus in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply in line with international quality management standards; and (f) assistance to state and economic management bodies, local government bodies and other organizations within the framework of implementation of projects, including investment projects in the field of agro-industrial complex and food supply.
