The Decree provides for the coordination between and governance of the National System for the prevention of health from environmental and climatic risks (SNPS) with the National Environmental Protection System (SNPA) Art. 1 establishes the control room and Art. 3 provides for the composition and Art. 4 functions. The Control room coordinate the different agencies; promotes initiatives and adopts directives aimed at facilitating knowledge sharing; collaborates with research institutions; develops programs and training, etc. The control room also adopts the three-year Environmental Health Biodiversity and Climate Program (the Program), on a joint proposal from the Commission of strategic coordination, of the decree of the Minister of Health June 9, 2022, and of the Council of SNPA extension. The Decree specifies that the Program determines the priority areas the One health approach.
