According to the relevant laws and regulations of China and the Protocol of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Development of Nepal on the Safety and Hygiene Conditions of Nepalese Silage Exporting to China, the import of Nepalese silage that meets the relevant requirements is allowed.
The phytosanitary requirements for imported Nepalese Silage are described in the Announcement, which include those for: approved orchards and packing houses, inspetion, quarantine, transportation, labelling/packaging, phytosanitary certification, and the list of quarantine pests of concern to China, etc.
