The Premier, with a view of organizing systematic work for the consistent implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Global UN agenda until 2030, decrees to form a Coordination Council for the implementation of National goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development for the period up to 2030, to approve the "Roadmap" for the organization of implementation of the National goals and objectives for sustainable development for the period up to 2030, and to appoint the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan as acting body performing the functions of the working body of the Coordination Council.
National goals and objectives for sustainable development for the period up to 2030 shall be set forth as follows: (a) countrywide reduction in level of low income population; (b) strengthening food security, improving rational nutrition and assistance to sustainable agricultural development; (c) ensuring healthy way of life and assistance to wellbeing for everyone in any age; (d) ensuring gender equality, empowerment and opportunities for all women and girls; (e) conservation and rational use of water resources in the interests of sustainable development, ensuring availability for everyone; (f) ensuring access to low cost, reliable and modern energy sources for everyone; (g) promotion of sustainable and inclusive economic growth based on raising productive employment and decent work for men and women; (h) reduction of inequalities in all its manifestations inside the country; (i) ensuring openness, security, resilience and ecological sustainability of cities and populated areas; (j) taking urgent action to fight against climate change and its consequences; and (k) protection and recovery of terrestrial ecosystems and promoting their rational use, rational forest management, combating desertification, stopping and turning back land degradation.
