This Law, consisting of 51 articles divided into five Chapters, creates the Anti-Corruption Commission. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Commission, entitled to carry out preventive actions and criminal investigation of crimes of corruption in any of its forms, embezzlement, abuse of power, influence peddling and economic participation in business, as defined in criminal law. In particular, it is responsible to perform the following activities: Collect and analyze information related to the causes, and prevention of corruption; Carry out awareness-raising aimed at limiting the practice of corruption, motivating people to take precautions or reduce acts and situations that facilitate the occurrence of criminal conduct; Conduct investigations delegated by the Public Prosecutor, etc.
