Article 2 (1) shall be amended to add the following wording: water management organizations shall be intended water management organizations using water management facilities (district irrigation departments, management of irrigation systems, management of main canals (systems), management of pumping stations and power plants, melioration expeditions, management of the operation of reservoirs and large hydrotechnical facilities, Ministry of Water Management of the Republic Karakalpakstan, basin management of irrigation systems under the Ministry of Water Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan); payment for water delivery and other water management services shall be intended making payments on a contractual basis for water delivery services provided by water supply organizations (water management exploitation organizations, associations of water consumers and others), and other water management services (repair of water management facilities, implementation of water-saving irrigation technologies, assistance in the use of water control and accounting devices". Article 9 shall be amended to add the following wording: State control over the use and protection of water is carried out by local state authorities, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environmental Protection, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources, the Inspection for the Control of the Agricultural Complex under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Water Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Inspection for the Control of the Use of Drinking Water under the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the legislation . Article 19 shall be amended to add the following wording: Waterbodies or their parts may be objects of water use and be put into operation on the principles of public-private partnership and other conditions in accordance with the procedure established by legislation, with the exception of water reservoirs, mudflow storage reservoirs, and also large and particularly important water management facilities". Article 27 shall be amended to add the following wording: The permit for special water use or water consumption from natural waterbodies is issued by the bodies of ecology and environmental protection in coordination with the bodies of water management for surface waters, bodies of geology and mineral resources for underground waters. Permits for special water use or water consumption from artificial water facilities is issued by: the Ministry of Water Management of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, basin administrations of irrigation systems, administrations of main canals (systems), administrations of reservoir exploitation, organizations that operate transboundary waterbodies, waterbodies of interregional importance, large and particularly important water management bodies, administrations of pumping stations, energy and communications, reclamation to expeditions, as well as to other water users and water consumers - by the Ministry of Water Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan from water objects of republican or interregional significance; by the Ministry of Water Management of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, basin managements of irrigation systems, managements of irrigation systems, as well as other water users and water consumers - from water facilities of regional or interdistrict significance; by the irrigation departments of the districts to associations of water users, as well as to other water users and water managers from water facilities of regional significance; and by associations of water users of farming and dehkan (peasant) farms, community gatherings of citizens and other water users located in the zone of their service, - from water facilities for agricultural needs in agreement with the district department of agriculture . Article 31 shall be amended to add the following wording: The term of temporary water use must be no less than three years and no more than forty-nine years . Article 51 shall be amended to add the following wording: Irrigation of agricultural crops with waste water is carried out with the authorization of the bodies of ecology and environmental protection in coordination with the bodies of the state sanitary supervision in the established order .
