This Agreement aims to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in the field of plant quarantine. The Parties shall undertake the necessary measures for the prevention of introduction and spreading of quarantine diseases, insects and weeds. The Parties shall carry out information exchanges on laws, regulations and technologies related to plant quarantine. Each lot of products subject to quarantine inspection of importing country shall be accompanied by phytosanitary certificate of the exporting country. The Parties shall avoid using planting materials for packaging.
