By the Decree No. 2017/9295 of the Council of Ministers of 26 September 2016, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Kingdom of Netherlands on collaboration in integrated rural development has been approved. The Parties agree upon cooperation in strategy development and project development for rural development and land consolidation and in international rural development projects. The Parties shall strengthen cooperation by exchange of experiences and technology and by capacity building, as well as by developing a national policy document for land consolidation in Turkey. A Joint Annual Implementation Plan shall be prepared each year by both Parties. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through consultations and negotiations. This MoU shall be valid for five years and is automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
