The present Order, of the Ministry of Environment, applies to emissions of the pollutants listed in Annex 1 from all sources within the territory of Denmark, including its exclusive economic zones and pollution control zones. It regulates the adoption of national programs for combating air pollution, national emission inventories and projections, and indicative inventory reports to achieve the prescribed emission reduction commitments under the NEC Directive (National Emission Ceilings Directive). The Ministry of Environment shall update the program for combating air pollution at least every four years. It shall submit the first national program for combating air pollution to the European Commission no later than April 1, 2019.
