This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 14 articles and one Annex, lays down, within the framework of the common organization of agricultural markets, the provision of financial support from the European Union and from the state budget to the implementation of measures included in the national program for the beekeeping sector: (a) technical assistance to beekeepers and associations of beekeepers; (b) control of pests and diseases of honey bee hives, in particular varroasis; (c) rationalizion of the seasonal relocation of hives; (d) supporting laboratories carrying out analysis of apiculture products in order to help beekeepers to market and increase the value of apiculture products; (e) restoration of hives; (f) cooperation with specialized bodies for the implementation of applied research programs in the field of beekeeping and apiculture products.
