This Agreement, consisting of 13 Articles, aim to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in the field of plant quarantine and protection, prevent introducing quarantine diseases and pests from the territory of a party to the other party s territory, and to benefit to the trade and exchanges of plants and their products. Plants or plant products to be exported from one Party to the other Party must be accompanied by the official phytosanitary certificates of the exporting country, attesting that they are in compliance with phytosanitary regulations of the importing country.
