This Complementary Protocol aims to establish a mechanism for bilateral consultations at the diplomatic level, in order to promote and expand economic, commercial, technical, scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries. The Parties establish a Bilateral Commission working as a framework for concertation and consultations between the two countries. The Commission will be responsible, among others, for the following: Promote and coordinate economic, commercial, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation between the two countries; Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of agreements already concluded or to be concluded between the Parties; Evaluate the development of cooperation between the two countries and propose solutions to the difficulties that may arise during the execution of any project established under this present Protocol; Create favorable conditions for carrying out cooperation projects; Exchange views on matters of mutual interest as well as international scope.
