The President, with a view of introduction of management system in the production of agricultural commodities and foodstuffs in the city of Tashkent, decrees that agricultural crops shall be placed on integral areas by plantation method for efficient use of available land areas and water resources, for the purpose of increasing production, processing and export of agricultural commodities and foodstuffs. At the same time, taking into account specialization, soil and climatic conditions of each territory, ameliorative state, fertility, water supply of agricultural land, shall be performed cultivation of export-oriented and highly profitable agricultural commodities. On land with an area of at least 20 hectares allocated in the territories in order to reduce unemployment, the Ministry of Agriculture on the basis of modern technologies with the use of plantation method shall create intensive orchards and vineyards, which are provided to the population on a leasing basis for a period of seven years.
