This Presidential Decree establishes the National Interdepartmental Commission for Combating Corruption performing the following basic tasks: (a) organization of the development and implementation of state and other programs in the field of anti-corruption; (b) coordination of activities and ensuring cooperation among bodies and organizations involved in counteracting corruption activities; (c) organizing the development and implementation of measures to raise legal awareness and legal culture of the population, formation of an intolerant attitude in the society to corruption; (d) ensuring improvement of the effectiveness of measures to prevent, detect and suppress corruption offences and eliminate their consequences, as well as the causes and conditions conducive to corruption; (e) collection and analysis of information on the status and trends of corruption; (f) monitoring of the implementation of anti-corruption measures; (g) assessment of the effectiveness of the existing organizational, practical and legal mechanisms in the field of combating corruption; (h) preparation of proposals for improving anti-corruption legislation; and (i) coordination of the activities of territorial interdepartmental anti-corruption commissions.
