This Presidential Decree, in order to stimulate the creation of value chains in the fruit and vegetable processing industry, to ensure the sustainability of production and export of quality fruit and vegetable products, to expand the financial capabilities of producers of these products, as well as to increase the competitiveness of production, to agree with the proposals of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Farmers and Dekhkan Farms and owners of homestead lands of Uzbekistan related to creation and large-scale application of cooperation association of independent and interrelated agricultural enterprises, farms, dekhkan (peasant) farms and owners of homestead lands on the basis of the principles of voluntariness and share participation in the established agricultural associations. Agricultural cooperative associations shall perform the following tasks: (a) marketing analysis of internal and external fruit and vegetable markets; (b) implementation of coordinated measures on fruit and vegetable production, including by types and varieties of products, regulated by contracts with members of agricultural associations; (c) organization of joint use by members of agricultural associations of property complexes, machinery, equipment, vehicles necessary for growing fruits and vegetables, including through joint rent of storages and processing of raw materials on a tolling basis; (d) supply of agricultural machinery, fuel and lubricants, fertilizers, seeds, seedlings and seedlings to members of agricultural associations on contractual terms; (e) organization of procurement, transportation, storage, processing and trade of products on the basis of contracting or commission agreements; (f) involvement of exporters in cooperation with agricultural associations in order to ensure guaranteed trade of fruit and vegetable products that meet international standards; and (g) provision of agrotechnical, accounting, consulting, commission and other services to members of agricultural associations.
