The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure the safety of dietary supplements and their fair placing on the market. It regulates their composition, labelling, marketing and sale in pre-packaged form to consumers. Medicinal products are outside the scope of this Regulation. The Regulation contains 14 sections divided into the following chapters: I. Purpose, scope of application and definitions; II. Composition; III. Labelling and marketing; IV. Administrative provisions. Annex I and II contain a list of vitamins and minerals that can be used in the production of dietary supplements, as well as their maximum limits.
